We have inevitably seen the waste management costs increase year on year throughout which have not been passed onto our guests. Any further costs increases for the regulated would necessitate them being passed onto perspective visitors. This would further damage the competitiveness of the Isle of Wight tourist sector as a destination, as perspective visitors are already facing ferry costs in comparison to competing mainland destinations.
